Last August 15, 2026, Mu Relief conducted relief operations for communities affected by Typhoon Maymay and the recent southwest monsoon, which brought intense rainfall and severe flooding across parts of Luzon. The prolonged heavy rains left many families displaced and disrupted their livelihoods, creating an urgent need for humanitarian support.

In response to these needs, Mu Relief mobilized assistance in close partnership with Angat San Mateo to reach affected households in San Mateo, Rizal. Through this coordinated effort, 100 food packs and 100 hygiene kits were distributed, helping address immediate daily needs for food security and basic sanitation during recovery.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our donors and supporters, particularly the Mu Sigma Phi Foundation, whose generosity made this mission possible. We also express our sincere appreciation to our dedicated volunteers, whose selfless efforts during the packing and distribution ensured that assistance was carried out efficiently and with care.

As we remain committed to staying ready and responsive to future emergencies, we continue to accept monetary contributions to strengthen our relief preparedness.
